Working in the Studio

by | Nov 21, 2022

Recently it has been so nice to welcome students back into the studio after the long time of isolation during Covid
This summer I have run studio days for up to three people in the studio at my home. These sessions are tailor made to offer students what they particularly want to study. This year amongst the subjects I have included are ‘Moving into Abstraction’, ‘Seascapes’  ‘Understanding and Using Colour’  and ‘Improving Drawing’. We enjoy a light lunch together as part of the day and the students and I enjoy the opportunity to work closely together in the more intimate situation rather than a larger class. We are pleased and surprised how much can be achieved in a day when I am able to quickly help solve problems, yet I try not to give the impression that I am watching every brush stroke. I look forward to welcoming you to the studio.
