The fifth Donhead Art Exhibition took place in Donhead St Andrew Church in early October.
The charity event supported Help for Heroes and Seeds for Success and raised over £600 for the organisations. Fifteen professional and semi-professional artists exhibited their work in the beautiful community space of the church, showing work that included carefully crafted pen drawings of animals by Audrey Granger who has recently returned from Canada and bold vibrant abstracts and semi-abstracts from local artist Jess Luck.
Organisers Pauline Dawkins White and Lynda Appleby said that the event was once again very well supported by both residents and those coming from further afield.
‘It makes all the hard work worthwhile’ said Pauline and Lynda. They extended their thanks to the artists who exhibited and all those who helped in moving and setting up screens and organising the refreshments for the private view.
